I had this song stuck in my head the other day and I just couldn't remember what show it came from. I had completely forgotten this show existed but that song stuck with me for the last 30 years. I had no idea Burt Reynolds was the voice of Evie's dad or that she went on to join a cult and become Dukat's baby mama.

This is my favorite of the intros because it's the only one where Troy's face gets obscured by baby Evie.

Aww, I always felt a little bad in the intro how sad Donna Pescow looked when her husband was leaving her. The lip print on his visor was a nice touch. (But seriously. I always preferred the intro and never could watch the series all the way through.)

The premise of this program should have been the alien husband staying on earth with his family and struggling to adapt to a human lifestyle and explore the galaxy with his children and see other alien beings and relatives., and excerising their supernatural-superhuman abilities. The show should star Jake Mcdorman, Kristen Bell, Jensen Gering, Luca Luhan, Jackson Dollinger , Jack Griffo, Mallory James Mahoney, Ruth Righi, Ava Kolker, Jazhir Bruno, Wolfgang Schaeffer, Nolan Maddox, Bella Blanding, and Kurtwood Smith

Loved this show, but does anyone else feel that the scenes during the theme song actually highlight an even more interesting story than the show itself? I would seriously love to see this remade with that portion of the story as the focal point.
