after doing about 300 lessons on duolingo for italian, I gotta say the stuff you're teaching here so far is invaluable and adding so much content to italian that I wasn't getting from duolingo.

I chose to learn beginner-level Italian for my DofE award (award you can do in England and some other countries) because of a school trip to Italy later on in the year. Well, that was cancelled lol, but by that time I’d already put money into buying textbooks and stuff so I didn’t really want to change it. Even though I did continue, I was severely unmotivated (plus the textbook was an absolute bore!), and ended up putting off completing the final few hours of study for literal months. I decided to finally sit down and do some sort of study, and found these videos. I’m so sad that I didn’t find you earlier on because I would have learnt so much more! Your way of teaching Italian is very good. As an English Language teacher, knowing English helps me a lot since they have 60 percent in common in the means of vocabulary. And I have the advantage of being a native Turkish speaker, because I think Italian and Turkish have the rest 40 percent in common 😊 Thanks for your effort
