Combining the consonants with each vowel is an excellent practice - it’s done when learning Japanese also. I found this so helpful, grazie mille, Manu!

after doing about 300 lessons on duolingo for italian, I gotta say the stuff you're teaching here so far is invaluable and adding so much content to italian that I wasn't getting from duolingo.
Im slowly understanding more of what my Nonna says so thanks Manu!

Bro, been listening to you a good three years regular. My Italian is much better then it was then, but you're English, though always good, now it seems as you have better sounding, less accented English, as though you moved to Chicago when you were about 14 years old. Love your videos, cumpa. Grazie 🙏🏻

I chose to learn beginner-level Italian for my DofE award (award you can do in England and some other countries) because of a school trip to Italy later on in the year. Well, that was cancelled lol, but by that time I’d already put money into buying textbooks and stuff so I didn’t really want to change it. Even though I did continue, I was severely unmotivated (plus the textbook was an absolute bore!), and ended up putting off completing the final few hours of study for literal months. I decided to finally sit down and do some sort of study, and found these videos. I’m so sad that I didn’t find you earlier on because I would have learnt so much more! You’re such a good teacher Manu! Grazie

I love how instead of giving us words to memorize like anyone else on YouTube you tell us details they wouldn't like so far, feminine and masculine words and how to recognize them, pronunciation, etc!

Your way of teaching Italian is very good. As an English Language teacher, knowing English helps me a lot since they have 60 percent in common in the means of vocabulary. And I have the advantage of being a native Turkish speaker, because I think Italian and Turkish have the rest 40 percent in common 😊 Thanks for your effort
