How much do those brakes wear down during a test like this? Or more importantly, how much is the wear during a regular F1 race? How many times (like, for how many races) can you use these brakes without having to swap them out for newer ones?
Also, what are the brakes made of? They seem to be very consistent even at high temperatures, (which just further increases the wear caused by the friction).
I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

This is not usual mechanik system, they use electrycity too change water resistance in that red disk.

You can actually see this in the wheels of f1 cars when they are on track. If you look closely you’ll see the inside of the hub glowing orange.
