your correct, during the war the ornate fences across the country, private homes, churches etc where removed for the war effort, love you attitude to the old items in the property

Bit of downtime abbey going on there 😂 love the history. I remember the lead dropping railings, they still used that round where I lived till the early 90s. Keep it coming gents.

Where you was wondering where the cold meat stores was, some times there was a stone or concrete slab approx 4-6 thick some where in cellar or basement area where the meat was stored on, it was naturally cold and that was it (bit how people roll pastry out on marble because it’s naturally cold )

Be interesting to know what the building sold for and what the Reno is costing. Is it the boss mans place or client?
