DayZ - Rare Shotgun Jam Animation

I did some testing, and it turns out the pump action shotgun can actually jam. My testing resulted in the jam occurring only 2% of the time using badly damaged ammo and a badly damaged gun. This shows that the shotgun is a very reliable choice no matter the condition.

Is the jamming frequency in DayZ realistic? In other words, pump-action shotguns (which are known for their good reliability in real life), jam less frequently than other guns in DayZ, such as full-auto guns, or is the probability completely random?

No fuking shot, i had to check, i died cause there wasnt a slug in my chamber after i unjammed it, doing the whole animation then the player racks the shot gun and ur in action again, but u have to rack it twice???? GG kit, thanks dayz for still having a shtty ass game after ten whole years

I really don't understand why the jam animations are so long, it's not hard to clear a gun. Drop the mag, if applicable, rack the slide, bolt, whatever, and then just load it as per normal. Sometimes, this annoying shit (as in slamming your gun, not the animation) is justified, as sometimes your bolt just refuses to go. However, then, you just mortar it typically and that fixes it. Though, don't take my word as gospel, I know a lot of paper facts about guns, not experience. I don't shoot as much as I read.
