大家好! Get ready for this HAKKA CHINESE event! The 7 Hakka villages of the Hing Chun Alliance in Sha Tau Kok (沙頭角) meet-up in Birmingham Chinatown. We're celebrating Hakka heritage with the Siu Ying School reunion and had a delicious Chinese food feast, with entertainment from the Hakka Unicorn dance team!

The 7 Hakka villages in the Hing Chun Alliance (慶春約, Hing Chun Yeuk) are Lai Chi Wo (荔枝窩), So Lo Pun (鎖羅盆), Sam A Village (三椏村), Mui Tsz Lam (梅子林), Kop Tong (蛤塘), Siu Tan (小灘) and Ngau Chi Wu (牛池湖).

Stayed in Lai Chi Wo in the 80s, speared lai man fish in the dark for congee while the neighbours played mahjong in our house and listening to gossip with the po pos after dinner, loved those days.
