What Trainees Need to Debut?

To debut, trainees must pass many auditions and sign a 2-4 year contract. They undergo intense training, follow strict fitness routines, and often sacrifice school.

Ofc it's worth it. Cuz success never comes while being in a comfort zone. And it takes lot of pressure, pain, sacrifices, heartbreaks, obstacles and much more. No pain, no gain.

(I can't answer anything anymore becuz there is a limit apparently and I'm no longer able to reply unless I delete other replies. If you have questions I made a new comment in which you can ask there)Ive only been a trainee for 5 months but im a freshman in high school. i passed when i was 13(now 14) but the school things isnt entirely accurate. Most idols and trainees go to Hanlim high school bc the school lets us get out early to go train. We do miss school days when we are really busy but our friends help us later. We usually do our homework in class or in the morning before school. Everything else is true tho but it is most definitely worth it. I do not regret anything. Im still friends with my friends from the U.S. and i have more friends within the company. It is hard but fun ar the same time and you just make the most fun out of the time you have.

Well, it's definitely worth it. I'm not a trainee yet, I'm training to audition. I have a daily program equal to a trainee's one, I do dance practice a lot of hours, music classes, work out, and I also take care of my skin and body. There's no way I'll drop out of school. I even plan on getting a music degree (I play a music instrument and know music theory for years) so I can have more chances to pass than a regular teen who'll audition.

Its a small chance to get in but if you debut it would be worth it but i think she should talk more about the hate some of the idols get.

I imagine becoming an idol or celebrity must be great and a dream for so many talented people, but being stalked, followed around, unable to go out unless incognito or with bodyguards and everyone seeing who you date or taking photographs of your children once you have a family... I don't know, privacy, peace and freedom are so important and often taken for granted.

Yeah no this seems like Hell! I feel sorry for all these idols both Male & Females. This just seems like torture. Really don’t know why some people wanna become idols and even if they do become idols the idol life doesn’t seem very good. Just looks like more Hell. This does not seem like a good time at all.

i feel like you can still guarantee from being a trainee as you can stay fit and healthy and i believe it can also shape you to be mentally aware of your surroundings

I wanna be one but I don't think I have the talent and I also don't think that I have money to go korea and imagine not debuting and it's a waste. I'll stick to being a kpop idol on YouTube. Just learning choreographys. Unless I ever have a chance to be a kpop idol. I only have a bit of time left if I want to start tho

if your in a high school in the U.S. and become a trainee how does school work out with trainee life? Do you get to continue school in the U.S. but do everything online or do you just shift schools from America to Korea?
