God wants Ron DeSantis to be Governor - Watch his ad!

On November 4, 2022, Casey DeSantis tweeted out this ad suggesting God has picked her husband Ron DeSantis to be Florida's current and future Governor because he is "a fighter." Governor DeSantis is standing for re-election on November 8, 2022.

This is an exact example of taking God's name in vain. You take the name of God, twist and pervert it in a way to fulfil your political agenda and then sell it to your electorate for your own fame. If you truly believe in God and are sharing or endorsing this campaign ad, then you will have to answer for it.

As a Born Again Christian and values voter I had high hopes for Ron. After this ad though, you couldn't pay me enough to endorse him and his blasphemy. God takes His word seriously, and you don't get away with parodying it like this for political gain, not in the long run.

Part of this ad was on the Stephen Colbert show. I had to see the ad for myself because I thought Colbert's people had over-dubbed the voice for a joke. Well, this is a joke, but a very sad and scary one.
