I own the older 24inch model since 2018 and it has worked well over the years. Recently I just bought a used one from a couple for just a little over $100. They had problems with the auger bogging down with heavy snow. Since the couple bought the machine new 2 years ago, it had minimal rust and the engine sounded great. All I did when I got home was tightened the auger belt and all was good. What a steal knowing how expensive these machines can be!

Thanks for this video! I just bought one used from someone that is one year old. Worried about the reviews to be honest. But your vidieo made me a bit more confident about his machine! Will start trying it tomorrow. Canada here where snow is no stranger!

Happy to hear you are still happy with it after a full year of use; you have inspired me to give this one a shot.

I have the same one and I love mine .... No problem at all, it does an awesome job. Bought it brand new for 500.00 from Home Depot in the fall of 2020 and I totally recommend it.

I bought a snowblower about 2 years ago....never used it until the other day. We have a massive driveway and it only took about 3 times of shoveling it for us to make the buy. Anyway there is this spray lubricant that you can spray on there and the snow doesn't stick to it. Works great on snow shovels too. I ended up doing the sidewalks and stuff around the neighborhood because it was so great.

I just bought it, and waiting for the snow now. BTW, your old video did help me putting it together as the assembly instructions were not very clear. So, thank you for that. :)

I have a love-hate relationship with this same snowblower. This is my second winter using it. As you demonstrated, that sucker starts on the first pull 99% of the time. Heck, last winter I had to use it in something like -5º F and it jumped right to life. I've never had to use the electric start. It does a pretty good job in heavy snow (I'm in Wisconsin) and throws it nice and far, as you stated.

My beef is with the chute system. The cable that adjusts the chute deflector broke after about a month of use. The eyehook connecter just snapped right in half where the cable meets the connector! Also, I've found that in heavier snow, the chute tends to walk itself forward. I'll have it aimed sideways and slowly it will just rotate itself until it is throwing snow directly in front of the machine. I "fixed" this by wrapping a bungee cord around the hand crankshaft to try to keep it in place with friction. But it is pretty annoying. The last time I used it, it seemed to be slipping out of gear and at one point lost all self-propelledness. But that could have been operator error since I was severely uncaffeinated. We'll find out the next time it snows!

Anyway, great video. I'm glad it's serving you well.

Just got mine on the weekend and used it yesterday. Pretty good so far! Only negative out of the box is the spark plug tool was damaged so I’ll try to get that replaced at the store I got it from. Cool review!

Thanks for sharing! Saw your unboxing vid and liked it. The fact you made a 'year later' vid only adds credence to what you show and say. I think my wife and I will get this PowerSmart, NE Ohio got hit the last two weeks and at our age a Heart Attack is NOT worth risking. You did an outstanding job promoting this product, that being said, my wife and I will get one. THANK YOU AGAIN!

Awesome review and update - thanks for this - after a lot of research, this unit caught my eye at the local Home Depot store and since it is priced very well, I decided to take a chance on this brand. So now that I have watched your two videos on this, I plan to read the manual and then get 'er done.

Good vid i was thinking about ordering one of these...one suggestion I would like to give you is put in the stable and fill it with gas at end of winter rather before...run it for 15 minutes then put it away for the season...gotta get the stable worked in the fuel lines and sit for the off season
