All In Dirtbike Adventures take our pair of new 2022 KTM 500 EXC-F`s on a test day through some amazing countryside, exceptional views, fronting onto Lake Eildon Vic. All In Dirtbike Adventures has purchased 2 x KTM 500 EXC-F`s, thanks to Boltons Motorcycles for the use on tours around this area, to see if they really the ultimate light adventure bike. After you see this video is easy to see why the KTM 500 EXC was a good choice. We need a nimble machine to cover all types of terrain from extreme right through to bitumen roads. Our machines need to be able to blast along a bitumen rd, or send up some snotty hill, be really comfortable and get good fuel economy... Tune in to see our impressions of the new 2022 KTM 500.

the reflex vibe with the bikes on the boat brings back some good memories

I've got the old KTM525 and I just love it. I've put a big tank on it and did 2000kms in 6 days. It was economical and with lower gearing I do enduro. 500cc is a great size. In reality if not getting as thrashed as a smaller motor. They need a 7 speed gearbox, it would save changing the sprocket/s for adventure vs enduro. Tempted to get what you have. Great video btw.

What’s truly impressive about the 500 is in tight stuff you can really throw it around, it responds well in a corner.
300 for hard enduro, 500 for everything else.

Love it up there! We hit that track where you dropped the bike the day after 40mms of rain and it was nearly impossible! Took us an hour to make it up the 200m!
Amazing how nimble and rideable the modern big banger KTM 4 strokes are compared to say a WR450 that still feels like it weighs 125kgs…
Enjoy your vids, keep it up!

I should have never watched this. There is nothing affordable that compares to these monsters. Amazing.

Do the bikes have the stock silencer with the small outlet or are they open more like the xcfw

Spend some time on a 1290 Super Adventure R and the EXC500F literally feels like a bicycle.

Great video. 🤟 I have a KTM 520 EXC 2002 model with the RDS motor. It’s banging like a champ. People always make offers for the bike as mechanical it is A1. Would never sell it. The FMF. pipe not sure it’s totally legal but damn it sounds good. True wheelie machine. My precious. ✌️

Be interested on what you did in the tail to tidy it up. Just picked up my 500 and it’s so ugly and will break the first time I drop it

The engine won't lug at low speed, and flames out continuously on technical trails... and that's at 13/52 gearing. KTM has to fix this!...or do we? Somehow.

Thoughts on comparisons with the Husky FE 501S pls. I have a 2019 701 Enduro but want something smaller, less tiring. Not necessarily a Husky diehard just interested in differences before I buy.

I had 14/48 which was alright local, 14/45 is good for longer road trips and alright in bush but not tight single trail

I have a 2018 husky 701 enduro, and wanted something more for offroad so i bought a 2022 ktm 500 and i love the bike but have since been riding harder and harder stuff and all the guys i ride with are on 300 two strokes and have been telling me im on the wrong bike for hard enduro so now i have a ktm 300 tpi on order. How do you think the 500 compares to your hard enduro bike?
