It sounds like she is very respectful of the family and not sharing anything scandalous which is very honorable and rare these days.

You can tell how much class people have by the way they treat their employees. This is a true testament that Mrs. Kennedy was a lady with real class.

I really started to cry when she talked about how Caroline asked the questions about her father after the assassination, a very sensitive age to lose a dad

I told my children growing up that if they ever wanted to know a person's character, watch how they treat a wait staff. It never fails.

I don't find her to be betraying Jackie and the family at all. She's very respectful of her time with them and she's not saying anything that is super private.

I have “Jackie’s Girl” in my collection and I was very surprised. Most authors only care about sales by selling garbage but you can tell with Kathleen’s stories she’s still very protective of Jackie Kennedy and I can see why Jackie trusted her so much. Jacqueline was VERY Nice and generous and even left Provi (her Dominican nanny) funds from her will. Jackie is a class act and I’m glad Kathleen’s book was tasteful. I highly recommend this. I’ve read it several times and I love it!

I have always adored Jackie. The book made me realize that she was an actual living human being, not a myth and not a legend. Thanks to Kathy for making me see the true woman.

You're always judged by how you treat the 'help'. None of JBK's staff had a bad word to say about Madame. A class act.

I am glad she wrote this book. I believe Jackie would understand the historical importance of her life. Keep in mind, Jackie - herself, made sure much was recorded.

She comes across as truly a nice lady & if someone should write a book about the Kennedys it should be her .

I can not fathom those two children dealing with the loss of their father and then their beloved Uncle Bobby.
My heart goes out to Caroline and the family.

Jackie was the most elegant, kind and loving person ever. She will always be my most favorite First Lady. She definitely was very classy and a wonderful mother too.

When Jackie went to a PTA meeting she wore a name tag and was so modest not to assume others knew her fame. She suffered a lot in spite of all her gifts.

Man it really hits you hard how much tragedy Jackie’s daughter has gone through

Some may see this book as a betrayal, not because it was a sleazy tell-all about Jackie, which it clearly was not, but just because it was written at all. My thinking is that it may once have fallen into that category, especially if Jackie was still alive, but with the passing of time and the softening of things, and what with Jackie being gone now for 23 years, it's more a part of history. And anyway, I don't think this lovely, soft-spoken Irishwoman is capable of treachery. Let's all relax.

Very sweet story. Have always enjoyed hearing about Jacqueline Kennedy. I love it how Jackie made her a part of the family. Hope Caroline is ok with this book about her mom.
