Both ladies went after rich powerful men - Lee was angry that Jackie went after Ari when she was already seeing him . Both ladies sought after security ( financial ) rather than true love which makes both in my mind ladies of the evening - upper high scale ladies of the evening . lee never forgave Jackie for it and Jackie was angry that her mother gave Lee a few million dollars to live on to continue her lifestyle and that’s why Jackie left Lee nothing . Jackie didn’t approve of her mother financing lees life while the mother didn’t approve of Jackie marrying lees man of choice Ari Onassis . No wonder Christina didn’t care for Jackie . Jackie got 25 million from Ari’s estate with Teddy Kennedy negotiating with Ari’s estate after Ari died . Joe Kennedy gave Jackie one million after Jack was killed to raise John jr and Caroline then got 25 million from Ari but she still worked a 5o g job as editor in New York .
