Renee, you do you. You have your strategies and techniques that work for you. One of my very main, most important strategies is I go thrifting/garage saling/flea marketing alone. No friends, family members along. I can go at my pace (fast, slow), am not swayed by anyone's opinion of something, no talking to slow me down, no waiting on the other person to browse, etc. It may seem lonely and insular but it has worked for me for 20+ years.

I have so much going to the flea market ‘with’ you, and it doesn’t cost me a cent. I remember my dad using a slide rule when he was taking classes at the Waukegan Naval Center. Have a good holiday weekend, and I hope that you will have a Memorial Day vignette for us. You do them so well.

Have you ever talked to the tote man to find out how he gets all his items? I wonder if you told him what you were on the look out for if he would make a Renee box for you? Or maybe you like the surprise and rush, I totally get that 😊 Glad it was another successful flea market outing and you found more than plants 😆

Early Worm Day!! Lucky you...I wish we could get some nice, warmer sunny weather out here..."The coldest winter is a summer in San Francisco!" I saw something Masonic in that first box...a newer item...looked perhaps a tape measure? Liked those cute mini toy cars...I have some of those. More cars, I'd be getting those larger ones for my Lionel Train setup! Ah, a slide rule...used that in my graphics work! I found a Kermit the Frog Pez dispenser...part of the fr-g collection. I've seen a couple of those wooden "helicopters", passed them up.
