California wildfire evacuations lead experts in Utah to reassure home fire safety

As wildfires rage in California and prompt evacuations, professionals in Utah want residents to know how to keep their houses safe in case of wildfire.

Home Builders Association Executive officer, Ross Ford said new developments are more fireproof than ever before.

“We have materials that are treated with fire resistant chemicals. Bad things could still happen, but it's harder for it to do it, ” Ford said.
