Why would you even consider this? No offense, but bro If they would cast a white person for Kingsley I would be dissappointed too. Why do we need to change characters appearences even though there are already characters of the most ethnicities in the books?

No one can seriously argue that changing Snape’s appearance would automatically make James and the others’ bullying of him a racial issue. Turning James Potter into a racist would be a random and unnecessary reinterpretation of the story, and frankly, it doesn’t make sense. You can’t realistically depict them being cruel to a black kid without addressing racism—unless you’re planning to make James and the others black as well…?

Stick to the books. Snape is described as pale as death, thin to the point of being skeletal, with sharp features and a hooked nose. The person on the left looks far too healthy to fit that description.

Netflix's The Witcher, Amazon's The Rings of Power and yes, even HBO's House of the Dragon have all been ruined by DEI agenda.

It no longer feels like I'm watching a medieval fantasy show, it feels like I'm watching a bunch of modern-day New Yorkers either cosplaying or playing a game of LARP... and among those LARPers, there's a few legit actors trying to do their job with their very shitty scripts. Scripts which have been filled to the brim with modern-day ideals.

The immersion is ruined.

Why drastically change arguably the most successful movie franchise ever? I was excitedly looking forward to seeing the same subject matter and the feeling it gives even now watching the movies. I would feel the same way if they made Shacklebolt white or another character the opposite gender.
Enough of this. Why the criticism of no blacks in the original movies, when Ginny dated a black character or One of the Weasley twins took a black girl to the Christmas ball ? Paapadu may be a great actor, but in this instance you would want someone who resembles the original actors ( maybe Adam Driver?)

If it's animated, and Snape is drawn as described in the book, then I can probably (most likely won't) watch this.
After all, Sam L. Jackson played a White character. Cleveland Brown, Carl Carlson, and Dr. Hibbert were all played by White actors. (Until Hollywoke took over)
Next thing you know, boy characters won't be played by talented women. All the babies on Rugrats were played by women.
