Marilyn Manson Lawsuit Update: Wood Replies; Lawyer Reacts.

Let's look at Evan Rachel Wood's reply to Marilyn Manson's opposition to her motion to strike (anti-SLAPP). She says Manson didn't move the needle. Did you see it move?

So as long as I talk behind your back and not to your face, you have nothing to complain. And try to stay shush about me spreading rumours about you being a child molestor in front of a court. Gore called Michelle Meyers on October 02, October 05 and October 07. Accepting that there was "no pressure" on her part, just because she calculatingly wrote "no pressure" before that means keeping your eyes shut intentionally. To call somebody 3 times in 5 days means that something "must" happen no matter what. That is pressure. And letting ERW off the hook just because Gore was the muscle, also means keeping your eyes shut intentionally. I hope the judge understands that. And I hope there is a ruling in favour of full disclosure of all communication between Wood, Gore and all of the so called "survivors". I don't know if this is at all possible from a legal point of view, but without this no truth will see the light of day.

Thanks for the update! I hope Andrea is correct in that the letter remains as something that can be brought up regardless, because it remains one of the most damning pieces of evidence as to credibility and proof of the willingness of ERW to go to quite the (illegal) lengths to get her way.

2. If the FBI letter is striked (which I think it will), MM can still use it during the trial because it's connected to other of his claims, right? In this case, the FBI letter remains a strong material. it can be a bombshell in court and has the power to destroy ERW's credibility.

I'm not convinced about the "pressure" argument. Regardless of pressure, it's already a recruitment proposition in order to undertake a nefarious cabal. This already is enough to create distress and mental anxiety. "Hey, do you wanna murder Manson, no pressure!" is not really a way to escape responsability.

My question is, would Manson have had to show all his cards regarding the IIED claims already, or is there a chance he can come out with some explosive new evidence at the Anti-SLAPP hearing? For instance, in these legal documents it says repeatedly how Manson has not submitted “Groupie” into evidence to prove his claims- well is that something he could come out with at the hearing or would he have legally had to present it to the court already?
