Salam Sejahtera DR. My name is EGNES JOURON from group D. From what I saw and learned is I learned about marginal probability. Marginal distribution of discrete random variables is a given known joint distribution of two discrete random variables, say, X and Y, the marginal distribution of either variable X .Example: the probability distribution of X when the values of Y are not taken into consideration.

As what I understand, to find the probability of x alone, we have to sum up across all y's while to find the probability of y alone, we have to sum up across all x's. Based on this video, I have learned about how to find the marginal probability for discrete random variables which is we have to sum up or adding up the joint probability distribution for x and y.
