IKEA FYRTUR Smart Blinds To Blackout The Home Theater

I wanted to further control the light in my home theater and most of it was coming from my big kitchen windows during the day. I integrated two IKEA FYRTUR smart blackout blinds in to my smart home, being able to schedule them, control via remote, voice, Harmony remote, Alexa, routines etc. The install can be very frustrating because of the IKEA software but once in, they work great. If you need custom sizes, colors or even better performance just go Lutron.

Every home is different, but I just installed darkening curtains on the two door openings (there are no doors in them) in my living room. Massively helped using a projector.

Cool stuff. You should look into Crestron, you can control anything with that. You can tie it all together and have one button for theater mode to setup everything. A bit on the pricy side though.

The way Ikea is able to do it, is also by pricing their products based on costs to make them, not on the potential cost of the market and price willing to pay in the market demand. Just enough to make a good profit over cost of manufacture. This is how. As soon as companies factor in the cost of the industry and market, that is the greed price factor to justify. And branding has lots to do with it.
