In this video we guide on how to join datasets in data studio.

Google / Looker Data Studio offers a great, easy to use interface to blend or join datasets which allows the user to create a new blended dataset for additional insights.

All the traditional joins from SQL are available left joins, right joins, cross joins and inner joins. We show how to left join three datasets from two different sources in datastudio, Google BigQuery and Google Sheets.

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments and I will get back to you.

Thank you for your video, I can't seem to to use table 1 and table 2 from the blend to create a calculated field. I.E if I wanted to average across 2 different counts, one in each table. Do I need a paid version ?

Thanks for the useful video, Adam! I wanted to ask how do you choose which type of join to use? Thanks

brand new to Looker. So sorry of I ask dumb question.
DO I have to do the joins for each report? is there a way like in PowerBI to have a data model set up, so i don't have to do the links for each report?
Or do I have to create a "master" report with all the joins and copy that each time I create a new report?
Cheers
(i will go on a course in near future)

I hope this helps my business needs such as Revenue, Equity and Profit visualization.
Apparently I can't use Power BI because I don't have a Windows PC Lol

how to append first table with the data of second table in looker studio as I am having 232 rows in first table and 367 rows in second table and only column headers are matching as the data belongs to the separate store. Please suggest a good way to achieve the desired result.
