South America and Africa. If these two landmasses fused together, how disastrous would that be? What new animal species would it create?

I'm Nigerian and the majority of Afro-Brazilians actually came from Nigeria. If the two continents came together, Brazil would literally fit into Nigeria. It's something I've noticed for years and always thought was funny. It's like destiny.
