Net Touch: According to FIVB rules, touching the net is only a fault if it occurs during the action of playing the ball and interferes with the opponent’s ability to play it.
Timing and Interference: If a player touches the net after the ball has been played (e.g., after a block or a spike) and this contact does not affect the opponent’s play, it is not considered a fault.
In this scenario, Madrigal had already landed and only touched the net when she turned around. Importantly, before Madrigal touched the net, Okaro had already received the ball. Since the net contact happened after the block and didn’t interfere with the opponent’s play, it should not be considered a violation—even in Olympic-level play.

Naawa ako sa PLDT lalo sa cnbi ni arado.. Sana inulit nalang ung scores. Grabe din ung mga officials sa likod di nlang nila pinakita ung replay.. Kawawa nnman ang 1st referee sknya nnman ang pukol nito eh halata namang di nya dn alam mgging desisyon kasi nsa officials sa likod ang final say.. Prang hndi nkaka proud ung pagkapanalo ng akari though congrats pdn sknila. Sana naging patas ang mga officials.
