There’s absolutely nothing like Jeff Buckley. I wish I could hear him for the first time all over again.

'Forget Her' and 'Lover You Should've Come Over' were always my favourite Jeff Buckley songs. He was pretty fantastic. 👍

Thank you. I appreciate you geeking out here. My 19yo daughter has just come home from uni (her first year) and announced with a giggle that she’s got all her friends there into Jeff Buckley.

His vocal reverberating was influenced by a famous Pakistani singer named Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Jeff was a big fan of his. RiP

On the Live at Sin e recording of Mojo Pin ( no video just audio) at 4 minutes he hits the greatest note that's ever been hit.

Jeff was a fan of artist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a Sufi singer, who possibly inspired him in his falsetto style. Jeff had a diverse vocal range, from the harshness of havy metal to opera.

makes me sad that we lost such a talent so early. Just imagine what he could have done through a full career...

Checkout these performances: Dido's Lament, Corpus Christi Carol, The Way Young Lovers Do (Live at Sin-é). And not to forget his album "Grace".

He is probably best known for his version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah but it is this kind of stuff that really shows off his versatility.

There's not much I wouldn't give to see Jeff live.
Such a heartbreaking loss. Everytime I think of the heights he could've achieved and how many more masterful performances he could've graced us with, it always makes me tear up.
One of the most truthful artists we've seen walk this earth.

I've always been partial to the title track "Grace" but any song by Buckley is a gift from somewhere far beyond here.

Love seeing people who really know music react to jeff for the first time that man was a once in a lifetime artist.

Would love to see you react to his version of dido lament that was my holy grail jeff song when i first heard it. Not many people would try to sing it live

A once in a lifetime artist.

He sang each song differently every time. His version of this from Chicago is just as extraordinary and versatile.

Hope to see you do more Jeff songs.

One of the greatest voices ever. It's amazing that he didn't even want to sing but just wanted to play guitar. Such a loss when he passed.

I have been a metalhead since my preteens (now in my 50s) I love all forms of metal but I have said for years (even before the arrival of symphonic metal) that metal and classical have so many similarities that they have a symbiotic relationship. Thank for reacting to my favourite band and my favourite. I love that after every reaction you learning something new. Thank you and love from Scotland.🤘🤘

He’s such a gifted person. I still have no idea like how he can come up with these techniques. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

So glad to see you reacting to Jeff. He’s my favorite musician of all time. That face during the opening notes of the song is pretty much everyone’s reaction…stunned disbelief at the sheer beauty of his voice.

I love what you said about his “gentleness.” That’s really the essence of what sets him apart from others.

As a classically trained singer yourself, I highly recommend you react to his performance of “Dido’s Lament.” It’s his single greatest performance among many IMO.
