Wow, I had a funny feeling yesterday that, with all the natural disasters going on around the world. I was betting that S.F. was probably going to experience an earthquake soon. So imagine coming across this today. I live a couple hundred miles from there. So I'm concerned about it reaching over here. And of course, all affected by it.

I live on the Oregon border and felt it pretty good

And, once again, a warning is given to people who know what is coming yet do nothing to prepare with their own taxes and resources. They will expect massive amounts of money after the disaster. From people who don't agree with their politics.

The earthquake occurred at Cape Mendocino, a few miles south of Eureka, CA. There was damage to merchandise in stores and breakables in homes, but no injuries. As of now there have been 60+ aftershocks. This is where the San Andreas Fault turns offshore and becomes the Mendocino Fracture Zone on the southern edge of the Juan De Fuca tectonic plate. A lot of earthquakes have been happening here and at other places on the plate edge.

This is rather misleading. The earthquake was far north of San Francisco almost to the Oregon border. Humboldt County. Where I live. It was pretty scary and there’s lots of cracked windows in Ferndale

I hope nobody was injured. And I hope this isn't the prelude to a bigger event. Our country has suffered enough catastrophes and heartbreak.

the question still remains, how long until the overdue "big one" when the entire fault off west coast goes, which will include both the cascadia, and san andreas faults
