Hopefully, this might help. There have been times when the resin on the Benu pens was not to my liking. Each one is different, and sometimes the way the glitter or other items in the resin are distributed is not good. I saw one of these that someone sold online, where the whole side of the pen had no glitter, and it was all bunched up on the other side. You could have this pen sent all the way across the ocean to you and the resin looks crappy. I ordered a different model in the Benu pen and had to return two of them because the resin was just plain ugly. You got a really nice Earl Grey one. If I could get one that looked like yours, I would order one, but there are no guarantees. So, I think you got lucky this time. You may get a not so pretty one the second time around

I want to like the first pen, but it looks like a snake skin to me and it creeps me out. Can't help it!

Wonderful pens here. I have never owned an Onoto. I wonder if I should take the plunge and get one from their "entry" level, if they have such a category. Any suggestions?
