I Put Sonic Frontiers Music Over Transformers Devastation Final Boss (I'm Here & I'm With You)

Since Transformers Devastation has been delisted, I put this download link here for the PC version:

The finale to the Sonic Frontiers music swaps nobody asked for to promote a dead game near and dear to my heart. Sorry it took so long, I actually pondered if I should even do another one since the previous two ones I did for "Find Your Flame" and "Undefeatable" I'd consider flukes.

Still I tried my hardest to fit the final boss songs from Sonic Frontiers, specifically "I'm Here" and "I'm With You" as much as possible. Took about 4 hours worth of retries just to get the perfect footage for these songs and cutscenes.

Also fun fact, this video and previous 2 videos, I played on Prime difficulty and on top of that... used Cheat Engine to lower my stats so I could keep the fights longer and showcase how much depth and how many combos you can do in Transfromers Devastation. I hope I did a good enough job.

Anyways, please enjoy the video. :)

Music used:
- Sonic Frontiers OST - I'm Here (for Supreme Titan Boss Fight)
- Sonic Frontiers OST - I'm With You (for The End Boss Fight)

The End hits even harder with Optimus and Megatron fighting behind it. These two brothers turned Arch-Enemies struggle to decide the fate of two worlds. They both want what's best for Cybertron, but Optimus refuses to sacrifice innocent life for the resurrection of his own world. Tragedy and an unjust world tore them apart, and now they're at each others throats again and again.

"Cybertron is the center of MY universe! How is it not at the heart of yours?!"

“Leave the life you knew before
See another world worth fighting for”

It’s great how those first lines fit the perspective of either Optimus or Megatron. Optimus fighting for Earth as his new home, Megatron fighting for a reforged Cybertron.

It's nutty how everything The End says to Sonic feels like something Unicron would say.

"Cybertron is the center of my universe, how is it not the HEART of yours?!?" is a line that always stuck with me for some reason. The whole exchange during their final fight is just so good.

That last “it’s OVER, Megatron!” Hits so damn hard. I’m glad so many people are becoming reinvested in this underrated gem of a game.

The "I'm here" song is PERFECT for Optimus Prime Vs. Megatron.

"I have the manifolds to stand for those who can not stand for themselves." This is Optimus in a nutshell. He will always stand for the weak, the powerless, the defenseless, it doesn't matter where they come from.

Music really does change the mood of a scene. From triumphant orchestral rock, to melancholic hymns. It shines on the shadow of tragedy that the eternal rivalry between Optimus and Megatron have.

I will never tire of hearing Peter Cullen and Frank Welker together as Optimus and Megatron. They are to Transformers what Sean Schemmel and Christopher Sabat are to Goku and Vegeta of Dragonball or Dan Green and Eric Stuart to Yugi Moto and Seto Kaiba of YuGiOh or Maile Flanagan and Yuri Lowenthal to Naruto and Sasuke of Naruto.

Everybody talking about how much the sonic music fits so well…….

But nobody talking about this guy’s devastation skills like damn

And I spent over 130 hours on this game and I thought I was good

Once again, sonic frontiers and transformers devastation together have made my day marginally better

The lyrics “leave the life I knew before, see a new world worth fighting for” would fit so well in this situation. Especially after what Optimus said at the end about how they should accept that their old lives in Cybertron is gone and that earth is their new home and that they need to make the most of it.

"Leave the life you knew before... See _a new world worth fighting for..."_
That's basically the Autobots after discovering humanity upon their awakening on Earth.

"Once again, we'll start our story anew; Don't be afraid, I will be with you"
Optimus to his Autobots after declaring Earth their home; and also to Megatron after deciding to sacrifice Cybertron for Earth, trying to appeal to emotion if he will not see reason.

This song honestly might be even better for this fight than the actual song in-game. I remember suggesting this on the Undefeatable Devastator video, and though there were changes made, I feel you did them for the better, and am forever even more glad I made the suggestion after seeing the end result.

This is perfect. The final fight between Optimus and Megatron hits like a truck now with the End’s theme playing behind it.

Honestly I think this song fits the ending of this game more than the actual soundtrack.

The instrumental is somber, sad even tragic. A perfect embodiment of what this proud race of beings is reduced to. Fighting a war centuries old against each other on a completely different world. A world that had no part in such a conflict but were thrust into it anyway.

The rage and madness of a tyrant and the hope and melancholic duty of a man willing to stop him without harming that unwilling victim of their war.

Both fighting for the same thing but with different methods. They want to rebuild their home, but ones more willing to sacrifice the people he forced into this war while the other is willing to let his own world die for the sake of them.

A sad an hopeful end to this action packed game and even the characters of Megatron and Optimus in a way.

I loe how both sides are being put to the test, one side who loves his home and will do anything to save it and one side who respects all life and wants to find a peaceful solution to bring cybertron back.

These themes truly hit like a truck. (No pun intend)
I’m Here starts off slow, as if to prepare for the final showdown. This is it. You’re fighting the final villain, everything comes down to this. Then the guitar kicks in. The fight’s only getting started, and as the intensity continues, there it is. I’M HERE. The fight’s now kicked into full gear. You’re sweating (Probably, never played Frontiers) as the fight gets more intense, until you beat the boss, and everything slows down again as everything returns back to normal.
Then there’s The End. It starts off energetic. This is it, you’ve reached the TRUE TRUE end. This is the REAL final boss. The ultimate villain that threatens the universe. It all comes down to this. And then the theme kicks in. You’re doing it, keep going. You’re almost there, keep trying. It gets more intense as it shows that there might be hope to stop this guy. It keeps going, the fight is intense, then just as you beat him, the theme slows down to say: “You did it.”
Sonic has been no stranger to good music. From CD, to Adventure, to Unleashed, and now Frontiers, we’ve had some amazing tracks, like Never Turn Back, With Me, What I’m Made Of, too many to list. And I’m glad to say that Frontiers is keeping up with the tradition.

Man it’s a shame that Devastation got so overlooked, it was a really fun game with some of my favorite boss fights and in my opinion a wonderful dual between Optimus and Megatron, especially if you played as Optimus for the first phase of the Megatron battle as well.

Thank you for this awesome video, it was incredibly hype!

The fact that this video is just as epic as the other Transformers Devastation and Sonic Frontiers boss theme mashups just proves how good both are.
