I really love how many of Sonic's OST fits perfectly in racing games.
It shows where the concept of the series might be born. Because Sega was also known in the 90s for games such as Daytona USA, OutRun, Sega Rally or Ferrari F355 Challenge.

In 0:44, the lyrics match up perfectly with the "Suspect is fighting back" line. It's like the racer is beginning to get serious, with the police alerting everyone in a relatively calm manner.
It's almost like they think they have everything in control thanks to their coordination.
But they have no idea...
