I literally cancelled my prime membership renewal last week because i got tired of stuff arriving late when it says next day delivery. What a great decision that turned out to be.

I don't work at Amazon but am a warehouse worker. I heard horror stories about Amazon and already decided if I ever need a job never to apply to Amazon.

Amazon is about to go heavy on robotics.

I firmly support the Amazon workers!!! They care less about the workers safety. Example would be the tornado that hit a Amazon warehouse in Missouri. Workers have more power than you give them credit for. I will not be purchasing from Amazon in support for the workers.

Vote with your money, it is the only thing big corporations count.

Not surprising, most corporations (including Amazon), have workers striking for better pay and working conditions all the time.

Union is like insurance. You don’t use it normally, you don’t like paying for it. But when it hits the fan you will appreciate you have one

These workers are going to be replaced with robots if they continue to be such a problem for the company. That is going to be their future if they keep it up imo

If workers keep messing around like this, robots are going to come faster. Remember that.

My husband is part of a Union and the Union president has a private jet. Ofcourse, they want Amazon employees to unionize. More money for the Union leaders. No thank you. Amazon has been a good Employer without the Union. Do not fix anything that isn't broke.

Big corporations don't care for us. We need to always make sure our voice is heard!

Oh, please. Those Amazon workers are not protesting for environmental concerns. They may care about that, but there is no freaking way they would strike for something like that. That's the political side of the formal Union, or whatever organization is egging them on and funding this protest, who threw that in there. The workers are striking because they have real legitimate concerns about pay, work safety and such that actually directly affect them.

People have no clue. Their wages are low because all non-amazon warehouse jobs pay even less. For every one amazon employee that quits theres 4 more warehouse workers getting paid 3 dollars less an hour waiting for amazon to accept their application. They know that unionizing is the only way they can get paid more and gatekeep the workers who could compete for their job. The easier way would be to allow the smaller businesses to offer more so they could match amazon in pay and benefits, once small businesses do that then amazon will ante up. I dont blame amazon workers for not being able to see the forest for the trees though. Theyre probably college educated.

People need to stop expecting such fast delivery times. Consumers are just as greedy as corporations

Problem with drivers trying to unionize is that we do not work directly for Amazon, but work through contractor companies so unionizing might not do anything. I have not run into a single driver that likes the job, but a lot of is also don’t have the financial security to try.
