The number one error is to believe the Government is going to protect you. Im a retired Firefighter 30 years on the job and can tell you unless you are lucky and we first responders happen to be right there you are on your own. We respond to clean up the mess. The fastest I ever got on scene is 6 minutes. 6 minutes is long time in an emergency. Prepare and train to protect yourself and your family. Great video as always thanks!

As a medic i have worked around/with police on numerous calls for decades. Im not buying the excuse that law enforcement needs to be told via training that those kids will die if they dont intervene. Great vid. The police chief's excuse is total rubbish.

I have known that since 1973 when I began a 36 year career as a police officer. They could have paid me HALF what that report cost and I could have told them that in two or three pages.
It's THE reason I still carry a gun every day, and I have been retired since 2009.

If anyone tells you retired police officers carry guns because they are "specially trained', they are wrong. It is because we are especially knowledgeable in the fallacy of calling 911 for someone else to being a gun when you need one.

The response of the police officers in Uvalde was appalling and shameful. That so many had such a cowardly response is unfathomable to me.
