Emma Watson's mystery man has allegedly been identified as fellow Oxford student Kieran Brown.

The 34-year-old Harry Potter star was recently seen having a romantic date with him at a pastry shop near the university, just days after they were reportedly spotted kissing.

While Emma is pursuing a part-time Master's degree at Oxford, Kieran is reportedly working on a PhD in 19th-century literature and economics.

A source told The Sun, “Emma is studying creative writing and his thesis is all about literary theory — so they have a lot to talk about.”

“She looks so loved up with Kieran.”

MailOnline has reached out to Emma's representatives for comment.

In an exclusive photo obtained by MailOnline, Emma, who broke up with her ex Brandon Green, son of the controversial business tycoon Sir Philip, over a year ago, was seen looking adoringly at Kieran during their date at Gail's Bakery in Jericho, Oxford, on Friday.

Kieran wore a casual blue linen shirt, while Emma kept it simple with a beige cable-knit jumper, a dark red scarf, and a backwards navy baseball cap.

An observer in the pastry shop noted that the pair had a "nice vibe" together and that customers didn't seem to recognise the actress.

Saying, “They were chatting together in the queue, they seemed to have quite a nice vibe.”

“I couldn't hear what they were saying, apart from when she ordered - she got an espresso, a cake and a juice, or something similar.”

“She didn't seem to try to be hiding herself, she was just queuing with him normally.”

“Nobody really reacted to her, but I could see people in the shop recognised her.”

Just because they have a lot to talk about doesn't mean there's a connection. Like I mentioned he could have helped her with something and she thanked him with a kiss on the cheek. Paparazzi took a sneaky photo at a distance and posted it. They did this for years and nothing is real until SHE SAYS IT IS REAL. If she says "She is single" she's single.... does everyone remember the Selena Gomez incident with her purity 😉 😜 exactly my point, just a ring they made a big deal about her "Virginity" then as soon as things became overwhelming she took it off to try and stop but got worse as in "She's no longer a virgin" dumb paparazzi.
