you are the second youtuber to *actually* help me, all the other ones don't explain it in a way that I'd understand.
for me it just looks like "hey, pick up a pencil watch me get my masters degree and boom you got your clothing folds".

“ I use references 80% of the time and when I’m not using it in my drawing I always end up not finishing it because it sucks”

I can relate buddy

Oh, all right, I'll stop drawing characters that are all naked all the time, then! If you insist.
I love your tutorials, they somehow brighten up my day on top of teaching me how to do things properly (as opposed to half-assedly or butt-nakedly). Even the muzak is kind of awesome. I'm giving away free thumbs up, so here, have one!

This is so helpful compared to so many other tutorials out there, you actually show us how the physics work and not just expect us to know, and the breakdown on the references were so useful, I feel it's gonna help my digital improve. Thank you so much for the tutorial!

I'm starting to love how you draw things! Plus the humor, I love it. Please make more.

It's basicly 20% logic, 30% reference and the rest is just trial & error

You'll probably get the hang of it after a couple tries..

I started out tracing. Then eventually I started to make things from imagination. And I can say that the muscle memory from the trace practice really helps to ground an understanding of how things fall in line... A lot of people believe it's cheating... And I think it's only cheating if you traced something and tell people you didn't trace it and try to pass it up as something you made straight from imagination. But tracing purely for practice is a great thing to build proper technique.

Your methods are really helpful and it's really beginner friendly, I'll make sure to practice this after I master drawing bodies (which is also from your tutorial). Thanks a lot, please keep it up!!

Keep this in mind that you have to be able to at least draw a proper body anatomy. If you're missing your proportion then these tips might not works..
So if you're new at drawing and happens to be looking on how to draw clothes, I recommend proportion and human body first..
And muscles, muscles help a lot when drawing a Human body, specially males.
