SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE SALVAGE YARD VIDEO before you watch!

First, thank you all for watching, here's a few things to know on the front end about the salvage yard video.

This is my first time filming a Classic Car Yard for the channel, it's a big experiment and I don't claim to know everything perfectly, but I am growing. I usually only chase Rare Muscle Cars on the channel, but filming this yard sounded like fun and I knew some of you would enjoy it.

The majority of my expertise is 60s and 70s GM and Ford Muscle Cars. I am not a Cadillac or Mopar expert nor do I know some of the larger Luxury Vehicles extremely well other than 55-57 Chevy's and Impalas.

If I make a mistake along the way, help me learn rather than belittling me. There's always room for all of us to learn together. And I want too.

I want to keep the classic car industry alive and kicking. Being grumpy and prideful only keeps my generation away from the classics and pushes them into the imports. So let's be cool and help each other.

"You may not want to leave an encouraging comment, but it would be cooler if you did" - David Wooderson “Dazed and Confused”

Thanks,
John

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the video. Never get tired of seeing yards with salvageable vehicles that some can be put back on the road. Those 2 Brookwood wagons definitely worth putting back on the road as is the rare 61 wagon and 64 wagon I saw. That torino wagon is clean I'd put that one together if she was close by as I'm a person who will take any 2 door car (EXCEPT Camaro's) apart to save wagons no matter an impala, chevelle, nova or tri five. I hope some of these get saved.

your 58 Buick is a 59.
I remember a 58 Chevy Biscayne was delivered to the dealership with an Impala interior. The people that ordered it surprisingly refused the car even though they weren’t going to pay extra. Someone got a great Biscayne.

The HUGE Black Fleetwood Cadillac in the back 40 could have been used by Fleetwood Mac band back in their touring days. It would be interesting to chase down the vin numbers to verify who once owned that Fleetwood limo. I would love to restore that car of all of the cars you've shown The Fleetwood is my fav. Nice tutorial. Not one if us knows everything about cars. Someone once said "when you think you've learned it all someone changes it." I appreciate watch this video from TAMPA BAY FLORIDA USA 💪🇺🇸💪 🏁

only 2 hours from Stonewall and do some wrenching myself, but you got to have a good platform to resurrect *frame damage *all the glass * okla so the rust is usually minimal * not gonna restore a car unless i love it - that being said of course this is a great video . . . that malibu/chevelle good resto mod candidate

Everybody wants to see something different. So people say show more cars. Others say that you skipped a good one. Can't please them all. You did fine. Especially for your first time out
