The biggest issue with those old CS's are trying to fix the rust on the front clip. Most everything else is still findable, but that front end is near impossible to find good sheet metal for. I restored 2002's & e30's for a while. That one is definitely savable.

My dad had one of these when he lived in England (we’re Irish) and it was unfortunately stolen from outside of his house :( he bought it in the mid 80s for £600 from an old guy who had given up driving

The new class range it was so ahead of its time. I'm not surprised it runs the small six and big six we're built to last.

The rust makes me sad 😢 But definitely a gem worth saving ❤ The glass alone and trim will be worth something to some collector or bmw car lover 😊

It’s insane that real wood is such a huge feature now. We are so used to plastic garbage everywhere.

These motors were fantastic, and most everything is there this one is worth restoring at this point. Your not going to find front clip parts, any molding, or those rear lens's and it looks to have most all of it. That rust is nothing unusual as long as the frame is solid I would be all over that if it was at a Houston auction.
