I've never felt this committed to an artist from day one

Woody Guthrie would be proud.

"monsanto clause" I don't care who you are, you would have never come up with anything better than that in a hundred years. Fantastic lyrics.

“Cancer is as lucrative a business as a war, so if you ain’t expecting peace then why expect a cure.” Dadgummit that hit me like a sack of bricks… even more so cause I lost my dad to cancer a few years back now.

Sir, you have talent. The fact that you made me ruefully chuckle and shake my head, when I'm almost a year into a journey with metastatic cancer, is a testament to that. I'd like to offer my perspective on your, 1:15 "It'll make an atheist plead with God, a hard-core, bumper sticker Christian give up" lyric. When you deal with something incredibly difficult in life, you have two choices: you can let the situation distance you from God, or you can use it as a way to get closer to God. While I've struggled with faith in the past, and I wouldn't have described myself as a "hard-core, bumper sticker Christian, " I chose path #2, and I cannot begin to tell you the blessings I've had in the past year. God hears our prayers of desperation, and the more you seek him, the more you will find him. Am I guaranteed healing this side of heaven? Of course not. But the Bible says as a child of God, no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), situations intended for harm can be used for good (Genesis 50:20), and God will never abandon me (Hebrews 13:5). I have a daily joy, a daily peace, and a newfound appreciation for the gift of life that can only come from God. Peace, brother, and many blessings upon your songwriting.

I had cancer when I was a kid, it paralyzed me from the waist down & I had to learn to walk again but have to use a cane still. I approve of this song! Love it!🎗️

Man, as someone who barley survived stage 4 melanoma this hits heavy. The part about cancer not caring about your age hit me in the heart especially because i was diagnosed when i was 3

Being able to hear nature around you in all of your songs is so refreshing. Just true songs with heart and passion everywhere around them.

I saw you song on war then went to listen to this one. I love how deeply your lyrics resonate with my sentiments about modern human conditions. Your style, delivery, and guitar performance are very well done and really make me appreciate that this is on youtube. Keep up the good work
