you can tell that a miracle happened here, where the writer finds an actor who's so enthusiastic about the ideas and making the film look good, and the writer is likewise excited about having an actor who puts such effort into embodying the role. The amount of creative positivity these 2 men have together is beautiful.
Keanu Reeves has said that he doesn't mind making as many John Wick films as fans want, and the makers of the movie have stated that they are surprised at how consistently eager JOHN WICK's fanbase has remained across 4 sequels.
Yes, these movies might be what film snobs consider "mindless action" but they have enough uniqueness and well-madeness. I just saw the 4th one and it's just as good as all the others. It's common for action and horror blockbusters to trail off in quality, but these films deliver.
