There is a difference between a signature weapon and a best in slot weapon and also almost always, if it runs with a character and looks good with the character it is the signature

i'd argue that amos and jade spear are in fact their signature weapons. yes there are better options, BUT keep in mind these characters were added very early into the game compared to where we are now. those were best in slot for the time of their release, but now with new regions and power creep, yeah there are better options for them. but they always run alongside those characters so why aren't they signature??

i was confused bc i got jade winged spear off standard banner and after that my friend was talking about wanting raiden and saying they had xiaos weapon which is good for her and later i was looking for characters for imaginarium theater and saw jade winged as raidens weapon not knowing people confuse it as xiaos weapon

Speaking of signature weapons, but maybe it’s just me coping because I lost on the first Redhorn Stonethresher banner, but I don’t care what they told you in school, Skyward Harp is Venti’s signature weapon.

Okay, maybe I am coping. But, it is often listed as the best weapon for him as a DPS, and it does match him as a bard (I remember the first time I saw him use it in his trailer, which made me think that he had the ability to turn his lyre into a bow), and it has lore about him.

We gotta stop saying jade winged spear is xiaos best in slot. His best in slot is shenhes signature, my xiao performs way better with it since he gains way more from the attack. Its a very good weapon for him

If the weapon doesn't rlly work with the character doesn't mean that it's not their weapon, bc if we look at this then zhongli weapon isn't his signature weapon, but no unlike albedo wich got a random sword with him everytime he got a rerun wich means that he really doesn't have a weapon Xiao and ganyu have the same weapon every time they have a rerun

Don't mislead newbies . PJWS and Amos is xiao and Ganyu's signature weapon . When a character releases first time and the weapon comes with that character is considered their Signature. Like Jade cutter for keqing or Summit shaper for Albedo . it doesn't have to match aesthetically (example: Thundering pulse or mistsplitter) or best in slot (example: vortex vanquisher)
