Cran x This has kept me from getting pylonephritus, as often. Constant anti-biotics was not helping. me get over the kidney infection and swelling., as i was taking 3 or 4 antibiotics at a time, so I started taking oregano oil capsules, 200 mg, 3 times a day, this did help and only needed one round of antibiotics(broad spectrim), instead of multiple rounds of antibiotics by IV and fluid at the hospital. Out patient, instead of stuck in the hospital 3 or 4 days!!

@Level Up RN
I have a q. I know this person with pyelonephritis does not have renal failure or severe injury yet. But I am curious as to why an nsaid is given instead of Tylenol. I know obv nsaids decrease inflammation and pain but nsaids are not good for the kidney. Is there a reason why? Or is it just that the risks aren’t high in this situation as of yet and that is why it is ok?

Hey Doctor? I’ve been experiencing foamy urine for 5 months now after I was given a brain cat scan that was unauthorized and not needed because nothing was wrong with me at all. I also now have these sharp pains on top of my head that come and go and move from the right of the scalp to the left. I also have a white tongue! I got my urine checked and everything is completely normal there is no protein in the urine. That CT scan did some things to my body and all I had was a minor allergic reaction to a spicy sandwich and the incompetent nurse gave me a CT- Scan for a reaction that resolved on its own and the doctor said he doesn’t know why they did a scan and that nothing is wrong with me. Now I am being told it may be Staphylococcus Capitis! Any recommendations? I wake up once a night to urinate. Im also now having pain in my kidneys in the back and strange pains on top of my head that move from the right to the left. All these problems after they did a malpractice on me by giving me a CT Scan. The pain on my head is not a headache but deep pain that comes and goes. I’m also a man!!!!
