THIS is the visualization that I have tried to picture whenever someone shows a 2D depiction of gravity warping space time! A 3D visualization where the "fabric" of space bends towards a high density object (like this) is so satisfying to finally see made real! No more weights on spandex sheets - we can imagine even grander ideas!

This makes so much sense. Space is curved "towards" mass. Not away from it. So a Singularity makes more sense how things fall into it.

I saw this kind of visualisation before here on YouTube. Which made me think that matter could be the fabric space-time in a knot, and like any theory that pops into my mind someone already wrote a paper on "Knot Physics"

Finalllyyy!!! I’ve never seen anyone do this model before. Especially in tv shows. It’s misleading to people who don’t understand the fabric of space. “Like a ball on a blanket” Is what they say. Really it’s more complex than that. This is a way better representation. Awesome

While this does help, the time curvature is the more important part of the picture. Unfortunately its very hard to visualise
