use only vinegar next time. anytime you mix an acid with baking soda, the baking soda actually loses its cleaning properties, and baking soda down the drain isn’t gonna do much. vinegar will though. just make sure to dilute it with some water

Baking soda and vinegar is way better and your supposed to plug ur sink once u pour down both so it doesn't come back up an goes right thru

Yes lemon is good for smelly drains..but baking soda and vinegar is good for unclogging as well as helping get the smell but lemon is better...plumber told me to boil water get it to a rolling boil then pour dawn dish soap down both drains then take your boiling hot water and pour down the drains..I do this once a mth I promise you this works I've been doin this for a yr and have had no more back ups or horrible smells wht I do is I boil 3 to 4 big pots of water pour dawn down both drains then pour some water to each side simultaneously after one pot is done then I use one whole pot per side then the last pot I do it again simultaneously it works amazing give it a try!!

If you have a garbage disposal you can also throw in lemon peels and baking soda with a little vinegar and ice then turn on the garbage disposal.

It's probably the type of trap below the sink allowing sewer gases to come into your room. The trap is probably an "S" trap under your sink. Google it, and check on internet or plumbing supply store. If this is government housing, this trap should be illegal and they'll need to fix. If they won't fix, check with supply store on how you can correct. Good luck 👍

Also you can use hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol and lemon juice and you’d be amazed at how well it not only cleans but sanitizes the sink!!

You can also use baking soda & vinegar an it works so much better also it breaks through everything even clogged pipes from whatever is in it I do it every drain I have in my new house an I also use it for the kills the smells as well

I do baking soda and vinegar go In with some lemon juice and wash down with some boiling hot water

Baking soda & vinegar everyone knows is homemade draino. 😂lemon is just for the smell. At that point I would buy a lemon, cut it in half, put salt on it & scrub your dang sink with it.
