Awesome channel. Learned so much so far. Anyone: I've just bought a Mipa epoxy primer and the spec sheet says 4-5 bar (58-72 psi) spraying pressure!! That sounds waaaay too high. Have you ever heard of this?

Loved the video but have a question, after you sanded the area and blew the dust off, I didn't see you use a tack rag before spraying primer. Wouldn't you normally tack rag it first??

I'm working on my car, i wil be sanding it back to bare metal.
I will seal it with a grey epoxy primer.
I want the car to be satin black, can i spray that colour direct over the primer? or should i use something else in between?

You said to let the coats flash off. I assume this is dependent on the conditions but do you have approximation of time we should allow to wait between coats or do we just wait until the coat loses its shine and then put the next coat on? Thanks,

So how many coats should you use on primer, paint and clearcoat. I used two today. I am using spray paint though not a spray gun. I had used over 5 before when painting my truck but I didn't use the right paint code exactly and I can tell the difference in spots but now I have original paint code that my vehicle has PSB bright metallic silver gonna put it on tommorow the paint. Last time I had already put body filler Bondo on the uneven spots but this time I ain't doing it just gonna put 3 coats primer and sand it down and do 3 more coats of paint then last three coats of clearcoat. Like I said I put body filler in before when I was getting all the rust spots even so all the spots now are not bad. I just got some scratches out that I didn't get the first time and also I have the right code paint now. I supposed to be getting another bottle of spray paint on Monday I bought it online on eBay I couldn't find PSB spray paint code in the store before.

@The Gunman Hi, I need to do some repair work on a car in parts, can i repair each area then spray the primer on to seal it then actually use the car on the road, until to get around to actually spraying the base and clear or not.
IS IT waterproof?, if not what do you recommend to fix my problem of wanting to do spot reapirs bit by bit whilst still using the car
