I’m a physician. If I lied about my credentials not only would I be fired and subject to malpractice suits, but I could go to jail. Here Santos goes to Congress. Unbelievable!

I worked for banks practically my whole adult life, and if I lied at all, I would have fired or never hired in the 1st place. Background checks are a must for a position like this.
The fraud should step down immediately.

Santos thought to himself; "I am a habitual liar and have zero qualifications, what job can I do?"
What else? Run as a Republican

He's now collecting $174, 000 a year salary as a congressman. He's laughing all the way to the bank. Now, will the ethics committee do anything about it? Or will the GOP protect him, too?

Those of us who “do stupid things in life” are not the people we want serving in government.

"We do stupid things in life." Yep. The electorate in his district did a stupid thing by electing Santos, a boldface liar.

He's going to take this poor judgment to congress.

If I lie to my principal and am caught I would be fired. Since Santos confessed, dismiss him quickly, no jail time because he confessed. If nothing is done, we are screwed as a society.

In any industry, lying on one's resume is grounds for immediate termination, even if you haven't started the job yet.

The worst part is that Republicans are completely happy to be lied to like this. This is the kind of representative they want, because it represents who they are at the core of their soul.

If I say on a job application that I'm not a felon and it is proven that it is a lie, I will lose my job even if I have been hired🧐🤔
This "con" will impact real lives... smh

"Yeah, I lied on my resume, but don't you worry, boss! I have no plans to resign in disgrace!" This guy is a piece of work.

McCarthy needs Santo's vote for the Speakership. Then Kevin will "owe" him the favor for some future issue. Don't let these lies be forgotten.

Of course its a running joke to them. Even they can't believe how much they can lie to their voters without any consequences...

The NY State Democratic Party really dropped the ball this election. They let this scrub sneak through and did not hold the Fort in 2022. Dems should have the House.

He needs to be fully investigated by the attorney general of New York

The problem is the republican voters that voted him in congress will twist themselves into pretzel to defend him.
