The opening chords of the Adagio molto @6:12 are very much related. Just a simple progression: V7/IV -> IV, V7 -> vi (deceptive cadence), V7/V -> V preparing for the main theme entry in C major.

What do you mean those chords are unrelated? I see a clear IV -> V. And A minor is also very closely related to C major. I have heard of this introduction where it sounds like the key is wrong be referred to as a Mozartian joke. Wonder if that is because Mozart would often decieve you in terms of key using chords that seem to imply a cadence into a different key.
