My junior high daughter said “mom, you don’t know fashion.” MA’AM. You are LITERALLY dressed like me in high school. I also threw out my back when throwing away a tissue, so that’s fun.

As a Millennial who turned 40 this year, I feel this song. Yes, our clothes are now trendy because we never threw them away. We took the kids to the pool & started nodding our heads to the Pearl Jam on the speakers….then the song ended & we heard “you’re listening to the 90s at 9 on 94.9”. Nothing makes you feel old like hearing the songs from high school on the local Oldies station…. Thanks for the laughs Penn & Kim!

41 year old millennial here...this was on point. Man. Just took my supplements and fish oil while watching this in my house slippers. No joke. 😂

The supermarket msuic hits hard, I remember thinking "wow this place has banging music" when my local supermarket was playing Complicated then realised my teenage agnst music is now shopping music

I just turned 30 and feel called out by this entire song, but I lost it at the houseplants with names. For my birthday I literally went to a garden centre. By choice.

Dear Holderness Family. This is a strange comment, but I had a near death experience tonight. And as I felt myself slipping away, I sang this song in my head, and it kept me just barely conscious until the EMTs arrived. And then whenever I felt myself slipping away again, I kept singing it, and reminding myself that the club is waiting for me and wants me to stay alive. I was reminded of what I have to live for and to keep fighting so I can live to a ripe old age. I am a 37-year old Xennial and this song ensured I’ll make it to 38. Thank you for your work. You make a bigger difference than you know ❤

GenX here. I remember when I told my Boomer parents about hearing music from college at the supermarket. They just laughed and said "buckle in, kid." This song is sooo true

As a "vintage Millennial" (I just turned 38), this song spoke to me on so many levels.

Xennial here! (The micro generation between Gen X and Millennials). This may be the best song ever made. Thank you.

Penn, the energy you put into your songs can make any Tuesday feel like a Friday.

As a millennial who just turned 34 I feel both personally attacked and warmly welcomed. And I'm not sure whether I love it or hate it. Probably both. 😅

Gen Xr here. Love -- "You only go to movies if they serve food." That had me dying as my husband only wants to see movies in the dine-in theaters. He falls asleep in the comfy chairs. 😂

As a Gen x I can confirm this is spot on. Especially that advil pass. As a matter of fact I now carry an “emergency kit” in my purse stocked with ibuprofen, Benadryl, 2 bandaids, a nail file, nail clippers, a hair tie. There’s plenty more in there but I can’t remember it all. And if anyone gives me flack I just say a Girl Scout is always prepared. Plus they will thank me later 😂😂😂

I'm 41 & it hit me one day that the 90s & even early 00s are to young people what the 70s were to me at their age. Kinda blew my mind lol

I just turned 40 last week, and I've been feeling really depressed about getting older, but this definitely cheered me up for 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Thank you for that!

This was surprisingly wholesome and comforting -- thank you for the warm welcome! So refreshing against all the generation-wars.... It's an honor to join a club that you guys are in! 🌟

My sister in law is 20 years younger than my husband and i. Over the past 10 years of her high school and college years, i have enjoyed experiencing her coming into my house dressed UN-ironically identical to my mom in the early 90s and having her wandering in wearing the sweatpants and tank top sporty spice look i wore in college. I've needed to go sit down both times lol! She did tell me that cargo pants are back in fashion so i look forward to being able to carry my keys easily again. 😂 Oh, and my husband pulled a pectoral muscle this weekend from sneezing. we had to ice him and the use a heat pad immediately afterwards plus Advil. I told him i was disappointed as i thought we'd at least have another 10 years before we both started having to treat one another like we're old pitchers lol!

I’m 37 and felt this on a spiritual level! Kids are calling Nickelback “dad music” now. And my years of ballet are taking its toll on my poor hip flexors. Millennials rule 🫶🏼

As an older Millennial, I feel like I've been in the club for a few years, lol. Great video!

Millennial here. Turned 37 earlier this year and bought a pregnancy test the day of! It was positive. Pregnant with my third 7 years after my second. So I had to SWITCH my supplements... No Smoo while pregnant, so that's fun. My husband is GenX and I understand him better at this stage. Lol

Grocery stores be playing my jam all the time and my daughter wears clothes I wore in middle school. And I really try to go to bed as early as I can. And I do name my plants, but I've always been fond of naming things: my van, my Bobble head, my hammer... Lol

Oh yeah and it's totally true, I really don't care all that much what people think of me. I do me and if younger generations have a problem with it... Oh well! 😂
