I just wasted 16 years of my life married to this person who was doing so much behind my back.
But I loved him so much, when he finally admitted what he done I still tried to justify that I love him so much . He begged my forgiveness, started going to church for prayers then I stayed with him and forgive him. So I lowered my guard again and now 7 years later he is walking out on me with someone else and trying to say everything that I accused him of was all lies. thanks to AlmondCyber genius for exposing him through his phone activities, I wish I met almod earlier though. It would’ve saved me 16 years of wasted heartache and ruined finances because he was spending on lots of irrelevants behind my back.

Neglect is emotional abuse and very insidious and hard to see unless you're in the relationship. I'm sure this was very damaging and she likely spent a lot of time and energy focusing on how to make him happy and make the marriage work. When she discovered nothing was working, she began to focus all that love on herself. Keeping the marriage together at all costs for the sake of the family is not helping anyone, but breeds toxicity.

I don't know their situation. Only my own.. I was dating this man who wanted to marry me. I had to be honest with myself because his definition of a relationship is that he did his thing, I did mine and we came together at some point. I couldn't bring myself to commit to someone who's definition of a relationship was getting around to "us" when he had time. Didn't make him a bad person. We just didn't want the same thing so I broke it off because I didn't feel like it was my place to convince him differently. I don't regret it one bit. Sometimes we want people to become who we always wanted in the first place. That typically never happens.
