Midnight Mass's dialogue was so good. Great show.

I love that Mike Flanagan essentially decided to leverage his success of Haunting of Hill House and told Netflix if they didn't let him make Midnight Mass (and with minimal studio interference) he wouldn't make another Haunting Of series for them. 🎉

I love Midnight Mass, but I absolutely adore Hill House. It makes my top five list of TV shows for sure. My favorite show of all time is Buffy though. Its more of a drama/comedy, but it could theoretically make this list. I was even skeptical of it at first because the movie was so different.

I was surprised how good chucky was/is. I assumed since it was for TV, it'd be toned down...but it's pretty on par with the movies, while still being able to weave a larger series narrative

Bates motel was so absolutely phenomenal and tbh some of the most perfect TV I had ever watched. Why it got such low viewership is crazyyyy to me, I think it did not get the advertising or premier visibility it needed. It also really depends on what other big shows are on at the time

Does anyone remember a horror anthology of only 13 episodes around Halloween around 2010? There was an episode (spoiler alert!) that centered around a girl trying to get home, calling people who didn’t seem to understand her, only to get to the end and realize she was a ZOMBIE the entire time!

I still can't believe Hannibal was a network television show. The things they did in that show were WILD, the second season in particular. Must watch TV for any horror fan!

I miss Penny Dreadful so much!!! When that end title card flashed across the screen that said “The End” I legit started crying and I was so mad! They kept the end so secretive I didn’t know it was coming. And the follow up series was …blah.

chucky season 1 and all of us are dead are my favorite horror tv shows by far. given time im sure i’ll add the last of us to that compendium. i’ve not finished love death and robots but the death themed episodes are always eerie. of the list that i’ve seen and i Strongly Recommend, i agree with what we do in the shadows and midnight mass ! mm has stuck with me as a catholic school kid of 12 years for as long as it’s been out (i watched it three times the year it came out oops).
