Fred Armisen is the master of selling just absolute nonsense that is made up on the spot. It doesn't matter how ridiculous it is, it is always freaking hilarious when it's Fred doing it.

Fred Armisen is so hilarious. I do always say "hey over really so everybody" when I am in front of my house.

Only Fred Armisen could make this game funny. This is like that character he played on SNL with Kristen Wigg where they would just make up songs on the spot. HYSTERICAL!!

Every time Fred sings a made up song, I am reminded of Garth and Kat on SNL.

Well this was the dumbest idea for a game ever, but Fred Armisen is funny enough to make it work.

Every time Fred Armisen opens his mouth I am overcome with hysterical laughter. Don't know what it is. Weird.

In the first song, notice the male perspective as the boy takes credit for meeting the girl even though the girl met him at the exact same time, leading to things becoming "tricky" as his personality shifts and he begins denying direct responsibility his role in more meaningful developments in their relationship such as falling in love, buying the house, or buying the horse. Also notice how "horse, " a slang term for heroin, casts darkness on the narrative and breaks with fairy-tale convention. And in the second song, notice how the group is comprised entirely of cousins with no brothers or sisters among them, almost as if their family represents humanity, while the crewcuts obviously represent internal war and strife between the races that leads to the falling of grain, ie. poverty and starvation, as poignantly illustrated in the poetic imagery of raining daisies of celebration giving way to trampled daisies of conflict.

"Oh! it's because they're H words... but it's not as simple as that." His comedy is an aquired taste but he's hilarious!

I like how he turns, "Like rain, " into, "Like grain, " just cause they are phonetically similar. It's so funny how he decides to do that just at that instant. It cracked me up.

Interpretation of Freds song.
crew cuts are a sign of innocence so we know the cousins are all young and innocent. they get sent off to war and one by one they die (daisies falling like rain')
