Amur Tiger Released Back into the Wild in Russia

Feisty Amur tigress Filippa is released back to her home in the Russian wilderness. She is the seventh Amur tiger to be released from "The Center for Rehabilitation and Reintroduction of Tigers and Other Rare Animals" (PRNCO). During her rehabilitation for life in the wild, Filippa has grown into a clever and experienced hunter. We are excited to witness the start of her new life in the wild.

Sad part is that this tiger might not have a female to mate with because the population is so low. Breaks my heart

These tigers really deserve to be in the wild and to not be hunted. If I was in charge there would be no endangered species on the planet

This is where she belongs. But I would not have felt safe on top of those vehicles. Glad to see her sprint to freedom, as nature intended. I wish her a long and happy life in the wild.

Tigers usually know what the area around them and are organised, when they're released like this isn't it like releasing them into the event hunger games of the wild with no knowledge of where they are? the first few seconds of of shit I have no idea where I am, then the oh well better just run and hope i don't get the murderer
