You are missing the point here and seem to be deliberately trolling for clicks? If you RTFM you will learn, to auto-mute tracks you should select loop recording. For all the other stuff, you are treating FL Studio like a linear DAW. It's not and that's a good thing and the whole point. Nothing is forcing you to drag those clips off their tracks. So just don't do it. Because it is possible, that opens up the ability to use more than one clip on the same track.

Very good video. Trying to decide on a new DAW, upgrading from Mixcraft. Down to FL or Reason.

I found a problem with the new update....after seeing the playlist/rack/mixer sync in the demo video by IL, I was finally hoping that it would work for my needs and save a load of time, .... But when using an instance of Kontakt, (with loaded instruments) and their respective midi outs (to save on ram) .... I found the auto name/auto assign colour...all automation aspect and loading up the instrument by clicking on the doesn't work :(,
I've been with IL as a customer for a good handful of years now but I'm seriously considering branching over to Cubase, :(

AdmiralBumblebee, you summed it up pretty good. The demo seemed like you can use VST's like any other DAW, but this wasn't the case. You should be able to drop a vst on track one and have it be on it's own and drag another one to track 2 and not have it all play each others notes. its a mess for now and hopefully they fix this on the next version.
