Aside from the length of the slide, keep in mind the physics of how it works, because an ideal braking movement would have the feet far ahead of the waist, so if the process involved the feet stopping, and then everything connected to them stopping afterwards in succession, there would be less risk of the center of gravity going past its supports as the friction stops them

when ever there is a sliding effect the character bends backwards not in front as per physics your character is leaning forward while sliding which is technically incorrect .It should lean backwards and then slide
