Some of my favourite things to find in video games are Easter eggs or secrets that only appear when you show an ungodly amount of patience!

As for the Octopus in Gang Beasts, it sort of... detects aggression if you will? I watched a video at the time of the Aquarium map's release and the two remaining people (out of four) tried to hide themselves from the Octopus for a few minutes, and it seemed to calm down or rather, didn't try to reach for them as much as it was before. However as soon as they restarted their fighting, the Octopus used nearly all its arms at once to try and grab them.
Mind you, this is only speculation based on observation from a video that is now a few years old, but still... I figured I'd share it anyway.

The "Press Start" screen in Ratchet And Clank 2 for the PS2 has a secret that you have to wait for.

In the background, you see Ratchet and Clank playing a console, with footage either taken from the game itself or the original Ratchet & Clank game, changing periodically. However, if you wait long enough (specifically every 4th change), the footage on the screen will change to that of Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II or Sly Cooper and the Thieveius Raccoonus.

Stellar Blade brings into mind Dirty Pair. Come for the female fanservice, actually stay for the unique plots, the witty banter between the protagonists and the people they encounter, and surprisingly good visuals for an old manga/anime.

I don't really think that the gang beast game in the aquarium level is a Easter egg more a feature of this level

U know Combat Master yea? Well, if in Combat Zone mode, when your character is about to just out of the helicopter, if you zoom out with your scroll wheel as far out as possible and pan your camera as far to the right as possible you will see a really cool retro-arcade styled picture on the side of the helicopter saying "S2" press start and all the characters on it, possible also some references idk i didnt look

in Avatar frontiers of pandora in one closet in outpost after liberating it I found Bear with spear and green piece of cloth, which I guess is reference to ewooks from star wars

Don't know if this is in other games or has been covered. But in Crysis 2 + 3, possibly 1 as well. If you reload a gun that uses bullets when the mag isn't empty, the gun will have a full mag plus one in the chamber. This is also reflected in the ammo indicator.

You've already done this one, but the saints row dlc where you can lick your way through the door slowly - I got that achievement, , but it's funny because I didn't know there was an achievement I was just stubborn

I've beat Stellar Blade like 8 times now I'm waiting for the Nier Automata collab but it really is a great game one of my favorites from the year
