Bloodstone - The Crystal of Compassionate Victory

Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a dark green Chalcedony with red inclusions of iron oxide or Red Jasper that resemble spots of blood. Legend tells the story that this crystal was once simply green, but when Jesus was crucified, his blood spilled upon the stone giving it the red splashes. This has imbued the crystal with Christ’s energy, giving the crystal energies that encourage healing, altruism and strength against adversity. Bloodstone can also assist in opening your heart to all in your life, including your enemies.

Omg, I wore my grandmothers little bloodstone ring when I was a child to school. I had a confrontation with a bully and fought back, I stopped wearing it because it made me confront such conflicts every time I seamed to wear it, didn’t realize it was a good thing at the time as I stopped wearing it thinking it was ‘ bad luck’, wow now I know it just gave me courage and was simply doing its magic . Bloodstone is my birthstone and my lucky charm

Bloodstone is a type of Jasper. The common variety is deep green with little red spots called Heliotrope, mostly mined in India, USA, Brazil and Russia. Another kind of bloodstone is called Seftonite (aka setonite or Vulcan Jasper) is mined in Africa (south africa or Madagascar)...it is greenish grey with larger red spots. Both kinds are true bloodstones.and have the same use in crystal healing

I prefer to cleanse my stones using incense (frankincense and herbs) and charge them under moonlight, especially full moon. Bloodstone is safe to charge in sunlight but only is semi shade area away from direct sun no longer than two hours

Bloodstone is good for blood disorders, hemorrhages, and bleeding. It boosts courage, intuition, and help recall dreams. For someone who is Pisces, bloodstone is said to combat laziness and offers emotional healing, as well as warn its ower of an upcoming danger or tragic events. It also protects its owner from deception

Never expose bloodstone to salt, . saltwater or harsh chemicals. Never let small kids handle them or try to lick it as it contains poisonous elements. Also avoid getting it wet, if you must wash it you should do it quickly and thoroughly dry it afterwards.

Amazed about the raven, as when I was young, I'm 77 yrs. now, I found a baby crow and mothered it, loving it and freeing it.  I always remember our relationship and dearly love it.  I recently found a native Navajo made ring with a rock...., which they didn't know the stone, but I felt it was for me, I bought it and it was Labadorite, which I felt was for me.  I had a bout of l liver problems, several years ago and went to a crystal store, which recommende Blood Stones, which I bought, but by bedtime the stones had turned 'white'.  Next day I returned them and put them on the counter and went looking for more.  I came back to the counter to find that my  white Blood Stones had once again turned dark green with the red spots, but they also  had some little blue white in them.  The man behind the counter, told me that I had used their energy and that they had helped me, also that the crystals under the counter had re-charged the stones.  It was an amazing experience and I have used crystals, without questions, ever since then.  Love to use my Blood Stones before performances (violinist) and during times of great stress!  Thank you for your video!   Blessings to you.

Interesting story about the blood of Christ turning the green jasper with spots of red. I imagine people placing stones at the foot of the cross of Christ, I wouldn't be surprised.
